Celebrate Independence day with the pre-eminent jazz vocalist of our time and four-time Grammy award winner Dianne Reeves at the National Concert Hall, Thursday 4th of July 8pm. Renowned the world over for her glorious voice and majestic stage presence, the American singer continues to reign uncontested as jazz royalty.
This Rewarding Times offer includes a ticket to the performance on Thursday 4th of July, and a complimentary hot dog and bottle of Miller beer or glass of wine, offered at a pre-concert reception from 7.15pm to 7.45pm for just €25.
For each of her last three recordings she won the Grammy for Best Jazz Vocal Performance. In fact, Reeves is the only recording artist in any singing category to have accomplished such a feat as this. In 2006, she went on to win best jazz vocal album for her soundtrack to the film ‘Good Night, and Good Luck’ by George Clooney, breaking her own record. ‘When You Know’ (2008), her most recent collection of love songs produced by George Duke features tracks; ‘The Temptations’, ‘Just My Imagination’, Minnie Ripperton's ‘Loving You’ and 'Today Will be a Good Day'; a song she wrote for her mother.
Reeves will be supported by her talented band Peter Martin (piano), Romero Lubambo (guitar), Reginald Veal (bass) and Terreon Gully (drums).
