Celebrate Christmas with The Irish Chamber Orchestra and three choirs as they perform a Seasonal Symphony and Song on Saturday 17th of December at the RDS.  This evening for two includes a festive mulled wine and mince pie reception followed by an exclusive pre-concert talk by the Irish Chamber Orchestra.

The Irish Chamber Orchestra and three choirs will perform the festive choral work Stella natalis (Star of Birth) by Karl Jenkins under the able baton of Jaime Martín.  Jenkins’ name shines bright amongst contemporary classical composers, having reached global stardom with such works as Adiemus, Requiem and The Armed Man.  Featuring the sublime soprano Susanne Berhard, a combined choir of sixty voices and a 28-piece orchestra, the ICO celebrates different aspects of Christmastide - winter, the sleeping child, tidings of peace and thanksgiving.
