Celebrating 15 years, initially in Ballsbridge and now in Donnybrook O'Connells have visited their Artisan Food Producers around the country to create a new 2015 Small Irish Artisan Food Producers Dinner Menu. Your choice of two starters, two mains and two desserts from the Small Irish Artisan Food Producers Dinner Menu. O'Connell's, Donnybrook has been doubly awarded Best Casual Dining Restaurant in Dublin and Ireland by The Irish Restaurant Awards and by The National Hospitality Awards. 

At O'Connells in Donnybrook they have just 'blind tasted' 60 wines for their new wine list. In fact as a result 80% of the wines on the list are new 'listings' ... you get to choose from six of these new listings.  

Starters include The Ocean and River Plate with O'Connells' own Charcoal Oven Smoked Goatsbridge (Co Kilkenny) Trout Crush and Herb marinated Salmon; Charcoal Oven Baked Wild and Flat Mushrooms with a Free-Range Egg from The Bergins in Co Laois, and Truffle Oil; Black Puddings alternatively from - Nora Egan Inch House (Co Tipperary) and  Sean Kelly (Newport Co Mayo); Skeaghanore Duck Confit Terrine with Warm Onion & Citrus Marmalade ; Warm Tomato & Chick Peas with West Cork Gubbeen Farmhouse Chorizo and Toasted Brioche.

Main Courses include Wexford Lamb; The O'Connells House Sirloin Steak with Salsa Verde and Horseradish Cream or alternatively of course Bearnaise or Peppercorn Sauces; Wild Atlantic Fish landed generally in Castletownbere by Shellfish de la Mer; Wild Irish Game from Glenmalure, Co Wicklow; Crowe's Farm Free-Range and Organic Pork from Dundrum Co Tipperary, maybe a Curry with excellent Spices from East Cork's Green Saffron Company. Finally the O'Connell's signature dish - Charcoal Oven Roast Breast of Free-Range Irish Chicken from Co Limerick - the chicken is carved at your table from the silver domed Carving Trolley.

Finally, for dessert you get to choose from their Selection of Pot Desserts - Two pots to make one dessert - you may also choose from an array of Rossmore Ice Cream from Co Laois.

  • For vouchers to be accepted, voucher code must be quoted when booking and voucher must be presented on arrival.
  • Vouchers are valid Monday to Sunday after 6pm for dinner bookings only.
  • Dinner bookings on Fridays are for sittings at 6pm or 8.30pm only.
  • Vouchers are valid from January 5th to March 31st 2015.
  • On Saturdays Dinner Bookings are for sittings at 6pm only with tables released by 8.00pm.
  • Voucher must be used by 31st March 2015. This redemption date is firm.  No correspondence will be entered into regarding late redemption of your Rewarding Times Voucher.
  • Vouchers are not valid on February 14th, March 1st and March 17th 2015.
  • There is no service charge. Gratuity is at your discretion.
