This year ely celebrates 15 years of excellence and as part of their celebrations they are offering dinner for two with great wines.

With a commitment to food provenance going back to 1999 and their own organic farm in the Burren, ely has sourced the very best of local and organic meat, the freshest seafood and the best of local vegetables. Guests can look forward to hand selected, 28 day dry-aged Boyne Valley rib-eye steaks from Trim served with goat's curd from Boyne Valley Blue farmhouse cheese in Slane. Pan seared scallops from Kilkeel are hugely popular as is the Fois Gras parfait. Organic rack of 'Craggy Island' Burren lamb with roast aubergine, mango purée and crushed new season potatoes from Kinsealy in north county Dublin. Desserts, all crafted in house, such as the crisp triple Cocoa-Barry chocolate plate or the peach creme brûlée with poppy seed tuile, make for a delicious end to a delightful meal.

ely bar & brasserie is the 2014 Wine Bar of the Year plus Wine Experience of the Year* and the wines that ely have selected come from their multi award winning wine list. Guests can either enjoy each wine by the glass, or simply choose which bottle they'd prefer.

The white wine is a classic 2011 Macon Villages from Domaine Nicolas Maillet in Burgundy. Nicolas is the 4th generation of wine maker on this family vineyard and has made an unoaked citrusy, fresh wine that works really well throughout the meal.

The red is the rewarding 2010 Montagne St.Emilion from Chateau Corbin in Bordeaux. Here, another 4th generation winemaker, Jacques Rambeaud makes a rich, lush red, full of plum and blackcurrant fruit, one of ely's great new finds.

  • Voucher code must be quoted when booking and voucher must be presented on arrival.
  • Vouchers are valid from 5th January until 5th March 2015.
  • Voucher must be used by 5th March 2015. This redemption date is firm.  No correspondence will be entered into regarding late redemption of your Rewarding Times Voucher.
